Is. 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
This scripture has been on my mind since the year changed, believing that God is doing something new again. Am I receiving what he is doing this coming year in my life, in my heart and all around me?
Another thing, that a lot of people have been praying over me is that new doors are opening! One of my friends said, new doors are opening, but it is not going to be easy but it is going to be good!
I loved the month of December, first of all my time in Finland was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every moment of it maybe for the first time since I moved to Budapest! I was able to rest in the business of meeting family, friends and churches, having a peace in my heart and just being in God's presence. I was able to share what God taught me the last fall and also I got to lead worship in Finnish. It was so good to lead worship in Finnish after a long time since here in Hungary I do it in English :) It's always a learning process, how do the Finnish songs go... :) The whole trip was a really blessed and fruitful time!

After the trip to Finland i headed back to Budapest, with mixed emotions since I didn't spend the Christmas with my family. However in Budapest we had some Christmas celebrations at the coffee house, our worship night and one as a base, it was a good time reflecting to the message of Christmas and baking ginger bread, I still have some left :) Our house was full of teams during the Christmas season, this was their outreach part of the DTS and they've been sharing the gospel in the city. Also they were a great help for me with the coffee house!

Before I went to Finland we had a team from Hernnhut, Germany and one of them prayed over me and had a picture where the Father was holding a big gift behind his back for me! So here comes my gift :) Right before Christmas I travelled to Macedonia to visit my friend Igor. The trip took six hours longer than I was hoping, the border was so packed that even though our awesome bus driver passed maybe twenty busses, we still had to wait at the border around two hours and due to that I missed my next bus from Serbia to Macedonia. After travelling 23 hours I arrived 5am in the morning and happily got some sleep after catching up with Igor of course :)
We had already during the last fall talked about the possibility of starting to date and when we met and spend some more time together it was sure for both of us that we want to be together. So I got my amazing gift and perfectly on the Christmas eve!

Viikon verran olin Makedoniassa, valitettavasti pahan flunssan kourissa ja sitten molemmat tulimme tänne Budapestiin, missä vietimme uuden vuoden yhdessä ja muutenkin vain hengaten yhdessä.
I am so thankful to God of Igor and first of all for the way how He has been leading both of our steps and led us to be together! The whole fall season I was just reminded of how it is so important to trust in God's perfect timing and in His perfect plans. Before I went to Macedonia both of us felt like this is the right time to start dating! :) I was there for one week visiting Skopje, where he is working, his hometown and one friend of ours as well, and after that we travelled together to Budapest to spend some more time and getting ready for the New Years party in Budapest!
We had a New Years party at our coffee house, and it was a great success though organizing part was kind of crazy . We had around forty quest's, lot's of food and music and also I was able to share a little bit of God and about the relationship He is longing to have with us. Also we got to pray together before the New Year changed. We really had a reason to celebrate since we can start this New Year in God's presence and in His goodness!

I'm so excited to see what is going to happen during this year! I'm sure there will be and is already a lot of new things and areas, that I don't even know of yet, but I know that I can trust in God and in His guidance. Also at our base we have a new season a head of us, because this will be the year when our downtown building should be ready! So let all those new things come and I want to receive what ever comes!
